Start selling on Nyuza with just one product

developer

You do not need to set up your entire business before you can start using Nyuza.

If you have been putting off adding your products because you are not sure where to begin, or because you have too many products to add; start smaller.

Start with one.

One product is enough to understand how Nyuza works, create your first order and begin selling.

You do not need your entire catalogue

A common mistake is thinking that your Nyuza catalogue has to perfectly represent everything you sell before you can begin.

It doesn’t.

If your shop has 50, 200 or even 1,000 products, you do not need to add all of them today.

Think about the products your customers ask for most often.

Maybe it is:

  • your best-selling perfume,
  • the cake size customers order most,
  • your most popular shoe,
  • the service you perform every day,
  • or the item customers regularly ask you about on WhatsApp.

Start there.

You can always add the rest later.

What do you need to add your first product?

Very little.

For your first product, focus on the basics:

Product name

Give it a name your customer will immediately understand.

For example:

  • Vanilla Birthday Cake
  • 50ml Oud Perfume
  • Men’s White Sneakers
  • Braiding Service
  • Physiotherapy Consultation

Price

Add the amount you normally charge.

That is enough to get started.

Photos, variants, stock information and other details can be added as you continue setting up your business.

The goal right now is not to create the perfect catalogue.

The goal is to start selling.

If you have too many products, start with your best sellers

If your business has a large catalogue, use a simple rule:

Start with the 5 products you sell most often.

Those products are already familiar to you, your staff and your customers.

Once they are on Nyuza, you can start using them immediately while gradually adding the rest of your catalogue.

You could even build your catalogue as you sell.

A customer asks for something that is not yet on Nyuza?

Add it.

Over time, your digital catalogue naturally begins to reflect the products your customers actually buy.

Your catalogue does not have to be finished before you make a sale

Think of your Nyuza catalogue as something that grows with your business.

You can start with:

1 product today.

Then perhaps:

5 products this week.

And eventually build out the rest when you have time.

There is no need to spend an entire afternoon setting everything up before seeing any value from Nyuza.

What happens after you add a product?

Once your first product is available, you can start using it in the rest of your Nyuza workflow.

You can create an order for a customer, keep track of what they are buying, share payment or checkout details where applicable, and begin building a clearer record of your business activity.

That first product is therefore more than just a catalogue entry.

It is the first step toward actually running part of your business through Nyuza.

Try this now

Choose one thing you sold recently.

Not your entire catalogue.

Just one.

Add:

Its name.
Its price.

You can improve everything else later.
